This 16 - day Manaslu trek is wild, remote and less crowded than other trails in Nepal. The highlights of this circuit are the impressive Himalayan landscapes and the authentic culture of the Tibetan villages along the way

You don't need technical skills for this trip. Only your sense of adventure and a good fitness condition.

Kraig Adams is joining Vagabond Trails to explore this authentic gem in Nepal, the Manaslu Circuit Trek.

This is a genuine adventure that leads you up and around the base of Mont Manaslu the world’s eighth highest mountain (8,163 m/ 26781 ft). The route follows the ancient salt-trade-route of Tibet along the Budhi Gandaki River, passing through the subtropical jungle at lower elevation and the Himalayan foothills to the high, cold, and demanding Larkya La Pass above 5000 m /16404 ft; offering everything that a classic trek in Nepal has to offer.

We will stay each night in different Tibetan villages along the way. The scenery of the Himalayas is of course impressive, but one of the main highlights of this circuit is the authentic culture of the Tibetan villages along the way. The houses, the villages, the people, the biological and cultural diversity made of this trek a unique experience.

The trails are demanding but it does not require any technical climbing. The itinerary is designed so your body has time for acclimatization and recovery.

This is an all-inclusive trip, meaning that you only have to worry about packing your bags and your travel documents! Really, you don't have to worry about anything else, because we arranged everything for you from the moment you arrived at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. For the entire tour, you will be led by a certified International Mountain Leader. Your safety and comfort are our main priority.

Please, make sure that your physical condition is adequate to the itinerary described below. Please, get in touch with us if you have any questions.
