Trail running trips and tours

Jonas and I have been traveling, hiking, running, and exploring the world for several years. This has helped us to understand how important is that we stay connected with nature and with who we really are. We decided to create Vagabond Trails to follow our passion for adventure, nature, and mountains.

Our main aim is to create the kind of trail running and trekking tours that we ourselves would want to go!!! Our trips are not just trips; they are journeys of self-discovery where you will feel challenged, alive, and reconnected.

We collaborate with like-minded companies, talented creatives, leaders, and certified guides. We make sure that everyone that we work with shares our values and goals to ensure that you get the most out of your trip

Vagabond Trails and its sister company Terra Photography are run and managed through Terra Expeditions AB, a company registered in Sweden.

Veronica Rojas, Co-Founder

I am an Ecuadorian National Guide living in the French Alps. I was born and raised between the Andes mountains and the Amazon jungle.

I've always been passionate about adventure, travel and nature. Hiking and trail running has been my way to discover and to feel the world since I was a little girl. My dreams have taken me to explore trails and new cultures around the globe. For different reasons I have lived in China, England, Ecuador, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland and France. A few years ago, I decided that I wanted to live my life by doing what I love. So, I left my career to start Vagabond Trails.

I also hold an environmental engineer degree and a master in engineering for sustainable development , which I don't use anymore.

Jonas Paurell, Co-Founder

My name is Jonas Paurell and I am a photographer, International Mountain Leader (UIMLA) and a filmmaker.

I grew up in between a great forest (at least it was great for a child) and the vast sea in Sweden. I spent my entire childhood camping, running in the forest, climbing trees and cliffs, and cycling.

I have been a creator of anything and everything for as long as I can remember, but it was first at the age of 13, when my dad gave me my first camera (a Pentax Program A from around 1984) and I subsequently shot a terrible series of still life pictures of a squashed banana that I knew that I had found my passion. Over the last decade, hiking, travel and adventure photography have become my main interest as it merges perfectly with my passion for the great outdoors and nature conservation.
